This time Sly and his gang come bearing trophies and a platinum. This game will only take one playthrough, making the Platinum that much more rewarding. Most of the trophies will come from opening the vaults, while others will come from defeating bosses. Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves is linear free roam within each episode, giving you the option to roam around and lurk, as well as collect coins and cause mischief. Walkthrough Codes: That you will need while you are on a mission to find certain information on a boss.
Have been around, engendering legions of “Trophy Hunters” (I’ve heard a other names as well). The most elusive prey for these digital treasure seekers is the Platinum Trophy.
For the uninitiated, most “full size” retail games reward players who completely unlock a long list of in-game accomplishments with a Platinum Trophy attached to your PSN ID. At a glance, it’s the quickest way to suss out a fellow gamer’s skill – while anyone can rack up the bronze Trophies, most Platinums require a mix of skill and dedication. Out of the, only 3 are Platinum. It’s still more than.A few weeks ago, listener John M.
Here are the games I got a platinum trophy on so far:– WWE Legends of WrestleMania (it was a really good game with a great roster of superstars from when I was as a kid like Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin, The Rock, and The Old School Undertaker. But I feel kinda sad that nobody plays this game online anymore, oh well)– X-Men Origins Wolverine Uncaged Edition (in my opinion, it’s a really fun movie-based game. And I know that the movie has a lot of negative reception from every single hardcore Wolverine fan, but as a casual comic fan, I kinda liked them both)– Sonic’s Ultimate Genesis Collection (I always remember my brother and I playing our dad’s Sega Genesis when we were kids, it was surely great to play those games again)– EyePet (when I’m out of ideas of what next PS Move game I should get, I got EyePet. I know for one thing that the challenges are a little too easy to get a gold medal on, and the trophies are also a little too easy). I’ve been close to getting my first platnium for a year now I havent gottten around to beatin the last 3 levels of Uncharted though.

I lose interest then I don’t bother playing it again cause me have ADD. Also im reading in all these recent forums and blogs ppl losing games either they payed for or got threw PS plus after renewing there membership even before it runs out but as soon as there new one starts all there games are gone even off the download list Sony has some issues to fix and their tech staff are well aware of this problem. From the posts I read in the forums section even going as far as to blame it on the group we do not speak of (A#@#$mous).I’m worried its going to happen to me then they give me the run around with lies. I dont know if Sony is aware but when you lie you make baby jesus cry.never trust obscure quotes from famous people on the internet: John F Kennedy. Thanks for posting this info Jeff.My first plat was ACII. Pretty easy to get if you collect items as you go, so you didn’t need to go far out of your way to get it. The other three I have are God of War III, FF XIII (this one was brutal to grind through to get) and Dragon Age: Origins.Close on a handful of others such as inFamous, Uncharted, and Killzone 3.
For these it is pretty much finishing off the hardest mode and that is it. All the collectible stuff is already done. Just need to find the time and motivation to beat a game I already have with so much else to play.Right now focusing on Skyrim.
Don’t think I’ll beat 98 hours to do it, but I’ll get there. Jeff I got almost all of the cod games platinum 2 away for call of duty classic and 1 away for MW3. I got black ops platinum I just need 2 more trophies get it to 100% again because the add on, MW2 I got platinum, World at war 100% platinum. I got madden 11 and 12 platinum don’t have madden 10 platinum mostly because they took the online off and I didn’t start doing those trophies until this year:( and I know MW is old and almost dead but can you guys add trophies to that game so I can platinum that 1 two lol:) my other platinums is avatar, rogue warrior, smackdown vs raw 2011. What I would like to see is, the level associated with trophies actually doing something besides counting trophies in an odd way. I mean seriously, why let us ‘level up’ if there is no purpose in doing it. Give players who spend that much time/money on the ps3 a bonus for doing it.
It’ll never happen, sure, but hey a guy can hope right? On topic, interestingly I tend to stay away from collecting a platinum on games where I have to collect large amounts of ridiculously tedious to find items. My AC2 has been sitting at 95% for who knows how long because I really don’t want to go into platinum drone mode and stare at the screen for hours doing nothing but looking for feathers and finding the subject 16 stuff.
While the ones I do have were more difficult by far. Go ahead, platinum dead nation solo. I shall laugh while you die repeatedly on morbid. (Yes some would argue that that game has collectibles, but I did all of those in 2 playthroughs without even looking for them so I don’t really count that as tedious.). I’ve got 8/10 platinums from this list. Only ones I don’t have are RE5 and MW2. Not a fan of either franchise, hehe. And the only GoW plat I’m missing is #2, but I’ve had that collection loaned out for a long time.
If I had it back, I’d have finished it up when I did GoW3 last year oh well.I think the plats I’m proudest of are the ones I speedrun. Dragon Age 2, inFAMOUS 2 and Uncharted 3 are ones I’m happy with. But then I also like to take my time on some games. Skyrim took me 193 hours to plat, and Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning took me 118 hours. But the trophy site I’m a member of shows me as being the 3rd to plat KoA:R, so I’m super happy with that.Currently working on Dynasty Warriors NEXT (Vita), Trine, Jak and Daxter Collection and Sengoku Basara. Nothing wrong with multiplayer trophies at all. Trophies are not necessary to begin with, therefore you are not forced to get any of them.
The point of a platinum should be working for it to complete all aspects that the game offers. It doesn’t make sense when games like Uncharted and Resistance ignore multiplayer trophies completely.
Even Killzone 3 completely dumbed down the multiplayer trophies, among other things, for whatever reason that may be. Of course there are some ridiculous trophies out there, but that is a case to case basis.
Multiplayer trophies can be reasonable to acquire while requiring some work at the same time. What is a trophy if nothing was put into unlocking it? Take note developers. I thought Uncharted 2 hit the nail on the head. Single player trophies for the platinum and then DLC trophies for those who want to play multi-player. I was hugely disappointed that all the UC3 DLCs to date haven’t had any trophies attached to them what-so-ever.
I was actually looking forward to going back and working on some of the multi-player trophies like I did with Uncharted 2. However, even though UC3 multi-player is amazing, I’ve got other games of similar AAA caliber that are crying for my attention. Especially those on the Vita. Sorry HD Drake, you lose to touchable Drake for now. @Jadehope:I totally agree with you. Games with a focus on single player should have single player trophies only. Of course, additional trophies for multiplayer and DLC don’t hurt anyone.I think I suck at games, especially shooters.
Therefore, despite having 1200+ trophies and being LVL 13, I only have two platinums:1) Enslaved: Odyssey to the West2) Skyrimboth Games were quite easy. I never got through the Uncharted games on highest difficulty.I would be interested which games have the lowest platinum percentage.I think it might be Far Cry II, because it would demand some impossible online grinding.Whar really impresses me are people who managed to get platinum in Wipeout HD or Mirror’s Edge. Kudos to there Guys and Girls ^^. Im quite supprised that Assasins creed II is top platinum, as I was robbed of mine when I relised the game had glitched and stopped awarding them. I didnt think this was a rare occurance either and no patch was released to address it.
I finished the game, but it put me off from trying again (all those feathers) in case it happened again.I dislike multiplayer trophies as they tend to have insin requirments that the devs intended to use just to keep peaople playing even if the modes you have to play are horrible. I think it was deadspace 2 that got it right by having the multiplayer trophies as dlc, and nt having to get them to platinum.GT5, getting gold on all licences and the X2010 car challenges has put an end to me platinuming that game. Insain requirement;). Mortal Kombat 2009, Play each character for 24 hours as just one of the requirments for a particular trophy, no chance. I think devs need to put more thaught into their trophies instead of hardcore bronse!
Level trophies for ony the trully dedicated.I cant imagin its good for sony, for there players to have to play one game for 6 months in order to plat instead of buying more games and plating more games to feed the trophy hunter beasts;). @AntiLeaf33: It’s a matter of trophy hunter versus trophy.hore. Most hunters avoid games like Terminator: Salvation and Hannah Montana, cause they feel it ruins their plat list.hores just want as many trophies+plats as possible, and are usually the ones you see with the above two, as well as every disney/pixar/dreamworks game, and various other 3-5 hour plats. T:S is not as widely platted as one would think. It would have had to actually sell well to come close to touching anything on this list.Another statistic I’d be interested in seeing, though I imagine it would be a bit harder to suss outNumber of PSN accounts having X tier of platinums, i.e. 1-10, 11-20, 21-30, 31-40, etc.
Just to see how many of those “top-tier” plat hunters are out there (solo or groups). 34+ R0BINLEECH on March 2nd, 2012 at 8:57 am said:I WANT TO PLAY ME3 ON MY VITA!
That was one of the reasons I bought a vita. (I love my vita) but I thought I was gonna be able to play whatever I wanted like My ps3 games.
I thought if I hooked my psv to my ps3 I could play games like that but I guess you can’t have everything you want. Because that was the impression I got when they said cross platform gaming. Did anyone get that impression?35+ R0BINLEECH on March 2nd, 2012 at 9:14 am said:I don’t want to have to choose between if I want to play my Psv or my ps3 I want to Play them together. I want to play what I want to play, not what you say I can play. I just want to play my ps3 games on my Psv while my girlfriend watches TV. That’s what I thought cross platform playing was.36+ R0BINLEECH on March 2nd, 2012 at 9:22 am said:If i’m wrong and you can do that please tell me.
Because I feel like you should be able too. Very good points, Jeff. Assassin’s Creed 2 was my first plat, and it was because there are no multiplayer trophies. I was very disappointed when Brotherhood had so many difficult ones, and never got the plat for that. Infamous I would have a plat for if it wasn’t for one stupid missing shard!
I got one for Infamous 2 because of the improved shard detection. Wish they could patch Infamous 1 with that!
I hope developers do listen to you, and either make less multiplayer “level 50” sort of trophies or make them optional trophies. I love the way Uncharted handles multiplayer trophies. All games should follow that pattern.
